My work as an organizational coach brings together deep experience in educational leadership consulting, a strong commitment to human connection and empathy, and direct experience with Charles O’Reilly and Michael Tushman’s work on organizational change.

 

I have assisted with the Leadership Change and Organizational Renewal (LCOR) program at Stanford for the past two years and have developed a practical understanding of how its frameworks can help leaders navigate complexity, competing priorities, organizational culture, and meaningful change. I combine that perspective with years of experience working with educational leaders and organizations, allowing me to understand not only the strategic and structural dimensions of change, but also the human realities beneath them.

I believe effective organizational coaching begins with integrity, curiosity, and genuine attention to every stakeholder’s experience. I use O’Reilly and Tushman’s approach as a lens, rather than a formula, whereby I adapt it to the unique history, culture, relationships, and values of each organization.

Through empathy, careful listening, and a nuanced understanding of organizational dynamics, I help leaders see beyond their own perspective, understand the concerns and aspirations of others, and identify paths forward that honor both the needs of the organization and the people within it.

My goal is to help leaders lead change with greater clarity, trust, and humanity, creating solutions that are not only strategically sound but also culturally authentic and sustainable.
